The Dead Sea known as “Sea of Salt”, also called the Salt Sea .The Dead Sea is 306 m (1,004 ft) deep, the deepest hyper saline lake in the world. With 34.2% salinity (in 2011), it is also one of the world's saltiest bodies of water. It is 9.6 times as salty as the ocean. This salinity makes for a harsh environment in which animals cannot flourish, hence its name. The Dead Sea has attracted visitors from around the Mediterranean basin for thousands of years and it has been the supplier of a wide variety of products, from balms or Egyptian mummification to potash for fertilizers. People also use the salt and the minerals from the Dead Sea to create cosmetics and herbals sachets. The Dead Sea seawater has a density of 1.240 kg/L, which makes swimming similar to floating.[6][7] Local Lunch at a Dead Sea Hotel. (International buffet) Late afternoon, the group comes back to Amman and proceeds for a guided
Amman city tour
With an enchanting mix of ancient and modern, Amman has perhaps very few parallels in the world. • On this city tour, visit the Bronze Age Citadel and admire the impressive Roman-era amphitheatre and temples. • The Archaeological Museum here houses the famous Dead Sea Scrolls, a copy of the oldest Hebrew text and four rare Iron Age sarcophagi. • Explore the Umayyad Palace at the Citadel, which dates back to 720 AD. Pay a visit to the Ottoman-style King Abdullah I Mosque, a grand monument of the modern times. • The city also has colourful souks and shopping malls, selling everything from tiny souvenirs to expensive designer wear.

A world wonder, Petra is without doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and the greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab civilization who settled here more than 2000 years ago, turning it into an important link for the silk, spice and other trade routes connected to China, India and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece and Rome
Local Lunch is at a restaurant. Post lunch, the group proceeds to the Wadi Rum.
Petra to Wadi Rum is 112 Kms / 2 Hours drive
• Not just sweeping sand dunes and gargantuan rock mountains, a spectacular series of natural arches, towering cliffs, massive landslides, dramatic cavernous weathering forms and narrow gorges can also be viewed here. They all together create an almost fairy-tale setting. • The blood red sands and the unworldly sandstone mountains create an uncanny Mars-like landscape and environment, making you truly feel like you are stepping foot on another planet, though you are right here on Earth. • With reddish sand and mountains looking like the arid and red surface of Mars, Wadi Rum is a Hollywood favorite for films set on the red planet. So far it has served as the backdrop for many Hollywood films like The Martian (2015), The Last Days on Mars (2013), Red Planet (2000), Mission to Mars (2000), and Indian movie Krish was also shot here (a song)
